The study developed a novel hybrid model with modified exponential-driven growth function, k. The model engenders new decomposition and interpretation of regression coefficients and captures the effects of both maturing and mature fields. The study also developed a petroleum economic model. A new methodological process flow for hybrid models of discovery-process and econometric frameworks incorporating co-integration approach has also been developed.
