UniPort & ACE-CEFOR Organize Research Workshop

The Office of the Vice Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt in collaboration with the Africa Center of Excellence in Oilfield Chemicals Research (ACE-CEFOR), University of Port Harcourt, recently organized a 2-day workshop for academic staff and post-graduate students of the University.

The workshop titled, “Internationalization of Research, Innovations in Education and Resource Mobilization for African Universities and Research Organizations”, took place from June 24 – 25, 2019.  In attendance was the Vice Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. N. E. S. Lale, who declared the workshop open. Deans of Faculty, Heads of Departments and senior lecturers of the University were also in attendance.

The course facilitator, Dr. Akanimo Odon, is the CEO of Envirofly Consulting UK Limited and Africa Strategy Adviser of Lancaster Environment Centre of Lancaster University UK. The workshop featured parallel break-out sessions for the academic staff and an interactive session with the post-graduate students.
