In February 2024, the Africa Centre of Excellence in Oilfield Chemicals Research (ACE-CEFOR), University of Port Harcourt, organized a Seminar for the 4th, 5th and 6th batches of the Centre’s PhD students. The 21 students who made presentations were drawn from the following programmes of the Centre; Environmental Technology Management, Occupational Health, Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Pure and Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology and Geology.
Some of the students made progress reports on their research work while others were examined as part of their final thesis defense at Centre level, preparatory to the final Graduate School thesis defense at the University. The Seminar took place from Wednesday, February 14 to Thursday, February 15, 2024.
