PROFESSOR EUNICE OLUCHI NWACHUKWU

Eunice Oluchi Nwachukwu is a professor of Plant Pathology and Mycology in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology of the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where she has taught from 1995 till date. She has carried out extensive research works in Plant disease management, Environmental pathology, Mycoremediation, Environmental Impact Assessment and Phytoremediation. She has participated in several Environmental Studies in the Niger Delta Regions of Nigeria and Federal Ministry of Environment Panel reviews. She is currently a Registered Environmental Manager with National Registry of Environment Professionals (NREP), USA. Slic Develops and lectures several courses for the students of the University and provides necessary education counseling as the education advisor to Plant science and Biotechnology students. She holds BSc (1985) – Botany from Imo State University; MSc (1990) and PhD (1994) in Plant Pathology & Mycology, University of Port Harcourt and PGD (2000) Environmental Management & Technology from Federal University of Science and Technology, Owerri. She has Published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals, 8 books, 6 Monographs and several conference articles.
