Professor Ethelbert Chinaka Nduka was formerly the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) and the University Statistician in the University of Port Harcourt. He rose from Graduate Assistant in 1981 to become professor in 2005 through diligence, hard work and conscious self-discipline. He was a two-time Head, Department of Maths/Statistics/Computer Science. He was elected Dean, Faculty of Science, July 2008-July 2010. Prof. Nduka holds B.Sc. (1980), MSc (1985), from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Ph.D. (1994) from University of Ibadan (all in Statistics). Professor Nduka is a member of Science Association of Nigeria, Nigerian Mathematical Society, International Biometric Society, USA, Statistical Modeling Society, Netherlands, West African Research and Innovation Management Association, Council, and Fellow, Nigerian Statistical Association He has over 52 published articles and 6 University Texts to his credit. He has research interest statistical modeling in biometric studies and outliers in regression analysis. He has range of experiences in the academia, industry and statistical consulting.
