Ayo Kuye is Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Port Harcourt. He is currently the director of Center for Nuclear Energy Studies, University of Port Harcourt. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and also a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, United Kingdom. He has over 18 years’ experience in University of Port Harcourt where he has taught computer programming for engineers, plant design, process design and instrumentation. He has supervised numerous projects for undergraduate and post graduate students and has published many papers both in national and international reputable journals. His research interests are in environmental related issues such as; Oilfield Production Surveillance as a Management Tool for Environmental Monitoring; estimating and analysing global solar radiation; Investigation of the sky optical conditions over selected stations in the major vegetation zones of Nigeria.
