In September 2024, the Africa Centre of Excellence in Oilfield Chemicals Research (ACE-CEFOR), University of Port Harcourt, received staff of the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the National Universities Commission (NUC), who were on a joint-verification mission of the University’s DLI 7.6 (Innovation in Teaching and Research) Infrastructure.
The team led by AAU DLI 5.3 Lead, Ms. Irene Dufie Addai, was made up of Mr. Arthur Abeaku, the World Bank expert, Mr. Oluwatobi Fowora (NUC) and Mr. Abdulkarim Suleman (NUC).
There were also staff of the Nigerian Research and Education Network (NgREN), in attendance. The visit took place on September 3, 2024.
