Professor Andrew Adesola Obafemi is of the Department of Geography & Environmental Management at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He has served the university in several capacities at Senate, faculty and departmental levels, as well as in other university institute/centers and Graduate school committees. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from University of Ilorin and later a Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in Geography and Environmental Management both from the University of Port Harcourt. Apart from obtaining another Masters of Science degree from the University of Lagos, with a specialization in Cartography, he has attended several workshops and training in Geo information techniques (Cartography, Remote Sensing and GIS) to enhance his teaching and research capacity as a lecturer.
