On April 15, 2024, ACE-CEFOR began a series of Innovation & Entrepreneurship workshops for staff and students, aimed at meeting its DLI 5.3 (Entrepreneurship) mandate. During the week of April 15 to 19, 2024, the Centre organized a workshop for 31 staff of the university of Port Harcourt titled, “From Publish or Perish, to Patent, Publish and Produce”. In that same week, the Centre also organized a workshop for 60 students titled, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. The next week of April 22 to 26, 2024, the centre continued with another Innovation and Entrepreneurship workshop for 102 staff of the university.
