Prof. Ikechukwu Agbagwa appointed new Centre Leader, ACE-CEFOR.

In the month of July, 2023, the Abia State government appointed Prof. Ogbonna Joel as the Abia State Honourable Commissioner for Petroleum and other Minerals. Following Prof. Joel’s resumption as Commissioner, the Vice Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Owunari A. Georgewill, appointed Prof. Ikechukwu O. Agbagwa, former Deputy Centre Leader, as the new Centre Leader, Africa Centre of Excellence in Oilfield Chemicals Research (ACE-CEFOR), University of Port Harcourt. Dr. Victor Aimikhe, former Safeguards Officer, has also been appointed as Deputy Centre Leader, while Mr. Daniel Okon, has been appointed as Safeguards Officer. All appointments are with immediate effect.
