AAU/World Bank verification visit for DLI 4.3 (Teaching & Research Infrastructure) on Friday, February 3, 2023

The Africa Centre of Excellence in Oilfield Chemicals Research (ACE-CEFOR), University of Port Harcourt, hosted the Association of African Universities (AAU)/World Bank verification teams for DLI 4.3 (Teaching & Research Infrastructure) on Friday, February 3, 2023. The verification team was made up of AAU Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, Mr. Schenineda Kwaku Ankomah and World Bank experts Engr. Wunmi Oloyede and Arc. Oluwaseyi Akerele. The team inspected the Centre’s new DLI 4.3 projects which include external roadworks leading into the Innovation Park which houses ACE-CEFOR and other Centres/Institutes of the university; new ACE-CEFOR research laboratory building made up of science and engineering laboratories; baby friendly centre for nursing staff and students of the Centre; and also, a canteen to cater for staff and students. The team also sighted all relevant documents and equipment related to the various projects.
